Every person has a way to express themselves. whther it be through dance, music, literature or something else. On of the ways to express oneself is through poetry. Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry that focuses on a brief moment in time, and a sense of sudden illumination or enlightenment. A haiku is usually composed of seventeen syllables in three short lines. Often focusing on images from nature, haiku emphasizes simplicity, intensity, and directness of expression.

Author Name: Kashish Sharma About the Author: Kashish Sharma is an undergraduate physics student at the Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College, Mumbai. She has received awards and accolades as an author, such as the Reader Leader Award at the National Katha Utsav presented at the International India Centre.
